I do, and so i have designed an adaptor that I hope will solve the problem forever.

After I finished the EQ6-Autoguider, many people ask me if it were possible to connect it to this camera or that and redesigned the MultiConnectorã for astronomy usage. I named it the MultiConnectorã because it can be used to connect most devices. Because its easily programmable by means of jumpers, it is possible to alter the connector for special needs as well as expand it to accomodate more inputs and outputs (any ideas are welcome). The device is small (72x50x28 mm) and convenient.

It has inputs for: Buttons, levels (+12V, +5V, GND), Data (8bit), RS232(LX200), various guiders such as the ST4, ST5..., Meade Pictor, etc.

The following outputs are provided: relays, levels (+12V, +5V, GND), Data (8bit), RS232(LX200), EQ-6, HEQ-5

If the device attached to the MultiConnectorã has a 12V power line (like the EQ-6, EQ6 Booster) you do not need a external power supply. The most interesting autoguiding combinations will be: Guider to RS232(LX200), Guider to EQ-6, RS232(LX200) to EQ6 and RS232(LX200) to Relays. Not every combination like RS232(LX200) to RS232(LX200) will be useful (although they are possible).

Any device with a cable connection can use the adapter.
